Art

I use tiny fragments of color and texture from old pages of The New Yorker to create impressionist images of nature. I grew up in both New York City and Seattle, and I’ve spent most of my life in the Pacific Northwest. I’m fascinated by a limiting medium that brings the city-shaped and wilderness-loving parts of me together, and recycles something inherently urban into images of nature.

Please visit my Etsy shop (in progress, items not listed yet), Impressionist Collage, to purchase prints or cards of these images. You can also find Impressionist Collage on Facebook and Instagram.
